New PureFacts benefit: Paying our people to take time off with Vacation Fund

Numerous studies have shown how important it is for full-time employees to take a break from the demands of their jobs and enjoy a well-earned vacation. Yet, for a variety of reasons, many people don’t end up using all of their vacation time each year.

At PureFacts, we’re big believers in the importance of taking time to recharge. We’ve always encouraged our hard-working and dedicated employees to make time for themselves. That’s why we’re so excited to offer our team an exciting new benefit: we’re helping to pay for their vacations!

Giving our employees vacation cash

We recently teamed up with the firm Vacation Fund to introduce an innovative employer-matched travel savings program. Our employees can direct a portion of their paycheque into a separate Vacation Fund account and we’ll match their contributions up to a set limit.

Although employer-matched travel saving is a pretty new concept, enthusiasm for the idea is catching on. A recent article Why companies are now helping staff pay for their vacations looks at some of the other companies that are starting to help pay for employee vacations. We’re pleased to be one of the early Vacation Fund adopters!

We know that by taking regular holidays, our team members will be happier, healthier and more productive. By helping our staff save for and fund their vacations, we’re making it that much easier for people to take time to recharge and rejuvenate. So everyone wins!
